Кризис приблизил осознание, что своя почта — это слишком сложно, дорого и накладно. Интересно, как это скажется на посещаемости TUT.BY — многие-то туда из-за почты и ходят.
Для долгожданного обновления почтового сервиса портал TUT.BY договорился с компанией Google о предоставлении УП «Надежные программы» сервиса Google Apps. Так, начиная с апреля, все 1,7 млн почтовых ящиков, зарегистрированных на TUT.BY, постепенно в течение всего 2009 года будут переводиться на почтовый сервис Google Mail, передает habrahabr.ru.
«Замена почтовой системы — давно ожидаемый шаг и логичное продолжение технологической политики TUT.BY. Один из наших основных принципов — приобретение лучших на рынке программ и собственная разработка только в случае отсутствия таковых. Нынешний почтовый движок был на момент приобретения в 2000 году лучшей профессиональной почтовой системой в мире. Однако в настоящий момент возможности Gmail лучше приспособлены для пользователей. При этом Google Apps – американское программное обеспечение, равно как и наш текущий движок, и как Microsoft Windows / Office, которыми пользуется большинство белорусов. Трудоемкость же разработки аналогичного продукта своими силами — десятки человеко-лет, по прошествии которых ПО уже никому не будет нужно», — заявил технический директор TUT.BY Денис Отвалко.
За неделю до переноса ящика администрация портала предупредит пользователя персонально по e-mail. Со стороны владельца почтового ящика никаких усилий для миграции не потребуется — вся переписка и папки будут перенесены автоматически и сохранятся в неизменном виде. После переноса ящик будет по-прежнему называться name@tut.by.

That is why I want to see the real link where SaM-Solution is one of 100-top best IT outsourcing companies (as Rising Stars). Till May 2009 or may be early. 98 is Itransition (Balanced Performance)

But I do not see IBA and Intetics at the moment. What was happened???
Also EPAM Systems was 37 at 2008’s rating, now — 51. And Russian company named Luxoft now is 65 only, one was 59 year before. BR.
