According to charter97.org administrators, the website was attacked after the information about Kozylin’s arrest had been published. That was a DOS attack, when hackers simulate requests identical to the requests of normal users which are very difficult to block. The server was attacked from more than 3000 unique IPs.During March 2, 2006 other news sites in Belarus: naviny.by, belaruspartisan.org; svaboda.org; elections.belapan.com; ucpb.org encountered difficulties with functioning. The United Civil Party website is now working in text mode.
